Description

Imagine a tectonic space in constant motion, a transformative landscape where the body mutually transforms and can be transformed. This is Himalya, a piece where the human body is continuously related to wider realities, reflecting on how we can think of the body as part of bigger systems, instead of a singular isolated one. How can the perception of the body be twisted from being an independent subject, to one in constant connection and understanding with other mechanisms? For the outfit I imagined the body crossing the Himalayas and experiencing different terrains, smells, sounds and textures. The only limits of this ignited body are the weather conditions. Himalaya recalls the figure of the Athlete. Among them, the triathlon sportswear is the most versatile to wear on current times: built for speed, comfort and race. The suit provides an aerodynamic fit without compromising on practicality.
